DEALER INFORMATION
CALIFORNIA’S CAPITAL SHOW— August 22-23, 2009
Our show is well
established (1987) . We draw on a metropolitan area of
over a million people and attract dealers and visitors from all over

Sandwiches, hot items, drinks and snacks will be available during the show.

DISPLAY MERCHANDISE: Acceptable material includes collectable post cards, movie memorabilia, antique photographs, autographs, ephemera, advertising material, postal history, sheet music, prints collector books and magazines, historic documents, old newspapers and magazines, travel folders, etc. We do not encourage dealers specializing in comics, sports cards, and modern sports collectibles.
PARKING-SETTING UP Parking is free. The hall will be open at 3-6 PM Friday and at 8:30AM on Saturday morning for dealers ONLY. Visitors enter at 10 AM. Do NOT leave your vehicle OR tables unattended. No one but table holders are allowed in during set-up time.
SHOW APPEARANCE Your contract calls for adequate and hopefully attractive table covering. Please don't forget. Appropriate dress is also appreciated.
SHOW HOURS Remember, you have agreed to be in place ready to do business from 10 AM to 5 PM Sat. and 10AM to 4PM Sun. If you have an emergency, let's discuss it.
YOUR SPACE If you have a space or location request, please note it on the contract. Mrs. Schafer (Natalie) and our daughter Charlotte will be on hand to meet you and help you find your space. Note: You can reserve your same space for future shows if you let us know in time and leave a deposit. Please do not bring in your own tables and other large appliances.
SHOW CARDS We
mail out over 2500 cards. If you can use
a bunch let us know.
APPRAISALS. We offer free appraisals for show visitors. We make every effort to give everyone a share of this action, and many good buys result. We trust you will be helpful and fair if asked for this service.

Each Exhibitor space includes one 8-foot table and one 8-foot back-up table. The charge for each space is $175.00 for the two-day show. DEALER AGREES TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND
CONDITIONS
1. DEALER acknowledges and agrees that: (1) assignment of Dealer’s space in the hall is at the sole discretion of Show Management; (2) acceptance for this Show does not entitle DEALER to Space or acceptance at any other show; and (3) Show Management is merely providing space and will not be a party to disputes regarding sales or business activities of DEALER. .
2. DEALER agrees that he/he or a representative will be in attendance at the assigned Space(s) during the hours of the show (10 AM to 5 PM Saturday, and 10 AM to 4 PM Sunday.)
Dealer agrees that the assigned Space will be used by DEALER ONLY for the sale, trade, or other exchange of post cards, paper collectibles, or other closely related materials, and will not allow any other use without our permission.
3. DEALER agrees to: (1) provide adequate and hopefully attractive table covering ;(2) to maintain the assigned space in a clean, orderly and presentable condition during the show;(3) will not damage the property of the Scottish Rite Organization, Show Management, other exhibitors, or show visitors; (4) will leave the Space in a reasonably clean condition at the end of the show. .
4. DEALER agrees to obey all applicable local, state and federal laws and rules of the Scottish Rite organization at all times while on the premises , including parking areas.
5. DEALER acknowledges there is NO smoking in the hall. Please use patio or go outside.
6. DEALER acknowledges and agrees that neither
the Show Management nor the Scottish Rite
Organization shall have any obligation or liability whatsoever for loss
or damage to property brought to the Show by DEALER, for any injury to DEALER
or Dealer’s representatives or customers.
7. DEALER agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Natalie Schafer, their agents, heirs, and/or assigns and/or the Scottish Rite Organization, and its agents or assigns, for any and all claims for personal injury, property damage, or other loss to any person, arising out of any breach of the terms, conditions and/or covenants of this Agreement by DEALER , or arising out of any act or omission by DEALER, or Dealer’s representative or agent, on the premises of the hall (including parking areas) , on in connection with Dealer’s activities at the Show, which indemnification shall include, without limitation, the payment of attorney’s fees.
8. CANCELLATION POLICY Cancellations MUST be in writing. If cancellation is RECEIVED more than 30 days prior to the Show, Dealer’s deposits will be refunded in full. If Cancellation RECEIVED by us less than 30 days or fewer days , all or part of Dealer’s deposits and/or payments WILL BE RETAINED BY THE SHOW as a cancellation fee; the fee depends upon whether the DEALER space can be resold prior to the show.
9. In the event that the Show is NOT Held for any reason, Dealer’s sole and exclusive right shall be a FULL refund of deposits and/or payments and neither Show Management for the Scottish Rite Organization shall be liable to DEALER or any other person for any loss or claim whatsoever.
